Sons Of The West! (Western Bulldogs)
The underdogs of the AFL, everyones second favourite team. The Western Bulldogs of course. Not this year though!Watch them burst from the blocks, to show everyone which side will be the Premiers on that one day in September, OOH YEAH, THE MIGHTY DOGS! Well, it's highly likely.
Ahh i feel sorry for anyone NOT going for the Dogs, for watching the same dribbly crap played every week, whereas we get a fast, EXPLOSIVE, exhilarating game, which differs everyweek. The team known for it's unpredictability! Watch out for us in 07, in 2006 we were plauged with injury, lost many key players throughout the season, lost 5 playes to knees (out for the year, all of them! and i wasn't even including Minson's broken leg!) and were short on talls. At one stage we didn't have enough players for emergencies! We still ran through the season, finishing on 6th with an exciting win over Collingwood (suck on THAT joffa!), which was great to rub in everyones faces.
Well it's round 1 of the NAB cup, and before it's even started we've got 16 INJURIES! That won't stop the Dogs though, we don't give up without a fight! and some reasons why we are seriously awesome.
-uhh, we have Peter Street. Just because it's Peter Street.
-Griffen can' be tackled by anyone. ever.
-Cooney is gingey. And ginger kids rock.
-AKER! what a psycho. You know it!
look out for us in 2007, you'll see us at the Grand Final, HAHAHA!

Season Preview: West Coast Eagles
What’s there to say? After just missing out on our 3rd premiership flag in 2005 by ⅔ of a straight kick, we twisted the scenario and suffered the Swans a closer defeat in last year’s Grand Final.
Sucked in...
(But what do score-lines matter in the history of winning, anyway?)
- Quentin Lynch… 100+ goals… Coleman Medal…
- Darren Glass to deed-poll his name to Smash Glass…
- Someone new to stir the cops and replace Gardiner in the outlaw gang…
- Daniel Kerr to dump Ben’s sister and go out with Chris’… Does he even have a sister?
Haha, nah:)
From a MIGHTY EAGLE to a heartbreaking Docker.
I was always an Eagles girl. Always. As each of my (4) family members slowly morphed into die-hard Dockers supporters (we're a big underdog family). I held fast. But then my parents actually became members. Mum actually joined mid season 1999ish when the Dockers had just surpassed their own record of how many games they could lose in a row. So anyway, what it meant was that I would go to the games when they had a spare ticket. And in the last two years I have officially become a Dockers girl. I can't help it, I swear. I think it's because unlike the Eagles, who will generally go through an entire season predominantly winning, the Freo will get your hopes up with a glorious win, then crush them for four straight weeks. Or you'll spend a nail biting game watching them win in every minute but the last two. Basically they get under your skin. Even when they're doing really well you still know it's a possibility that they might suddenly start sucking and really, that just makes it all more exciting. So I will be writing on every crushing defeat, every fantastic victory and every Derby we win, suckers.
